CHURCH MEMBERSHIP We invite you to membership in St. Mark as an expression of your personal commitment to
Jesus Christ. Membership may be obtained by attending the Pastor's Class which is offered two times a year in the fall and
in the spring. This exciting class covers the teaching of the Christian Church. It is also a great way to meet some new Christian
friends.
HOLY
COMMUNION
Offered on the first and third Sundays of the
month at all services, and at summer mid week services, following those Sundays.
We practice "open
Communion" - any baptized Christian age 10 years old or older (or who communes in their own church) who
repents of their sin and understands that Jesus Christ is truly present in the bread and wine of Communion is welcome to participate.
You do not need to be a St. Mark member, or even be a Lutheran to receive the sacrament.
BAPTISMS / WEDDINGS
Baptisms:
If you are
a member, are in the process of becoming a member, or if you live in this area, we would be honored to conduct a baptism for
you. In preparation for this sacrament, a one-hour baptism class is provided. (A Baptism booklet is available for you to print at the bottom of this page.) Weddings:
If you live in our area, we would be honored to celebrate your wedding at St. Mark. A wedding brochure outlining our wedding
policy is available from the church office or can be viewed or printed from the link below. Pre-marriage counseling is provided
to help you get your marriage off on the right foot.
