On April 18th, St. Mark hosted the orphans of Nuestros
Pequeños Hermanos
(Our Little Brothers and Sisters) for a Fiesta. All proceeds of this event have gone to the mission work of Nuestros
Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) homes in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras,
Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru.
Fiesta plans included a a cultural exchange with hors d'oeuvres at 7:00pm. And at 8:00pm a performance by the children's Ballet Folklorico.
Friends of the Orphans (a nonprofit formed to support NPH orphan homes) co-sponsored this Fiesta.

Orphans of the Ballet Folklorico
The pequeños (little ones) who are members of the
Ballet Folklorico dance troupe perform traditional dances from the various regions of Nicaragua. The children who came
to St. Mark ranged in age from 11 to 18 years. Costumes are made by the young people and are authentic to the different regions
of Nicaragua. |
